Marie-Paule Vandeberg is chemical engineer graduated from the UCL University, agronomy department and holds the diploma "Patent Litigation in Europe" delivered by the University of Strasbourg.
She is European Patent Attorney since 1996, and Belgian Patent Attorney since 1997. As such, she is entitled to analyze the validity of a European patent application covering potentially one or more of the 44 European countries in which the European Patent Office is competent (39 member States , 1 extension States, 4 validation States ) .
She is a technically qualified judge, part-time, at the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
